  1. Who Is HealthMastery & What Do We Do?

    HealthMastery is the leading mobile personal fitness training company in New Zealand. Founded in 2004, we have since established a market presence in Auckland and also offering services nationwide. HealthMastery offers one on one personal health and fitness coaching right in the client’s home or office. All clients are taken through a unique system encompassing physical exercises, nutritional advice, a motivational goal setting program and exercises. By following the HealthMastery training system we ensure our client’s success can be life-long, rather than a short term fix.

  2. Why do I need a HealthMastery Personal Trainer?

    Every great performer, whether an elite athlete, business legend or performing superstar, is surrounded by coaches & advisors. And When it comes to your health and fitness nothing should be more important. Don’t get us wrong, you can get by with out a personal trainer, but its almost impossible to thrive……. A HealthMastery personal trainer will make you focus on your fitness goals, A HealthMastery personal trainer will make you run more laps then you feel like. Your trainer will tell you like it is. You trainer will listen and give you pointers….and, a HealthMastery personal trainer will
    help you make your health and fitness dreams come true.

  3. can I change my trainer if I’m not happy?

    Most definitely. This would be subject to the availability of other trainers. However, we do recommend that you speak with your trainer first, HealthMastery will then find you a trainer best suited to your needs.

  4. Can I have more sessions per week with my trainer?

    There are no limits on the amount of sessions you can have with your Trainer, all subject to their availability throughout your Program, however remembering that if you require more than 1 session per week, there will be an extra charge to you.

  5. Can anyone else join in my sessions with me?

    Yes definitely! If you feel your wanting someone else to join in on your session there is no problem, We found that some people would like to train with their best friend or partner for added motivation and support. If you’re wanting someone else to train with you throughout the 12 weeks, that’s great! We also have a package for 2-3 people. Keep in mind any more people then this will take away the effectiveness of having a one on one personal trainer

  6. Can I continue after the 12 Week Program with HealthMastery?

    Yes! We recommend that you train with us after your program, as your trainer will have all your relevant information & history already. You also have the option of joining the advance package.

  7. Can I change my Location Of where I train?

    You sure can! We are here to accommodate & assist your goals & needs, so if you’re wanting to train elsewhere that’s fine.

  8. What sort of exercise equipment do I need?

    All you need as a minimum requirement is a Swiss ball and a dumbbell set ranging form 1-6 kg’s depending on what your trainer recommends. If you have your own home gym that’s fine, your personal trainer will be able to tailor a program around the equipment you have If you don’t have the minimum equipment requirements, HealthMastery can provide the equipment to you at a small cost.

  9. Can I Change the program that I’m on if I’m not happy?

    If your Program doesn’t seem to be working out for you, Just advise your trainer & I’m sure he/she will be more than happy to help.

  10. Can I cancel my contract any time?

    You can do this, however their will be a small administration charge.

  11. Can I Wear any kind of Sport Gear?

    Whatever you choose to work out in, will be fine.

  12. What If I Get Bored With My Program?

    If you find you are getting bored with your program, have a word to your trainer & just let them know, where it is you would like to change/adjust or maybe change the type of exercise your doing, they would be more than happy to oblige.

  13. Why At Least 12 Weeks?

    There are so many quick fix scheme in the market today. Fancy diets such as No carbs, eating only meat, drinking fancy milk shakes. Fat loss drugs…. The list goes on. The trouble with all this is that once you lose they weight, and you’ve been so deprived of all those foods that you loved. You automatically start binge on them. What happens is most people gain the weight back they previously lost plus a few more kilo’s. At HealthMastery we believe that long-term success means not just scraping the surface and doing it for you. It means doing it with you, showing you how to do it, working alongside you and creating the success together. Our programs are designed to make exercising and eating a way of life. We don’t deprive you of the foods you love, In fact we let you still eat those foods combined with eating more wholesome and healthy foods more frequently and regularly throughout the day. Over the 12 weeks, you’ll work on different areas of your health and fitness, you’ll not only see your goals become a reality, you’ll gain both the confidence and knowledge to make your goals a part of your everyday life, even when your 12 week program is over.

  14. How will I find the time?

    Remember, you are putting your health, fitness & yourself first and I’m sure you will want to make time. All you need to put aside is 30-45 minutes/day. Get up that ½ hour early or exercise after work. Go for a walk during your lunch break. Take a swiss ball to work. You will find the time! One of the keys to success is to work harder on yourself then you do on your job.

  15. How do I stay motivated?

    HealthMastery personal trainers are there to motivate you, even when you’re at your lowest; just contact them if you’re needing that little bit of extra motivation or maybe even just a chat to see what it is they can do to help you stay motivated.

  16. Can I Change My Days & Times?

    Yes, you can change these, however you will have to check with your trainer first, just to make sure they can accommodate your chosen days & times.

  17. Are there any guarantees?

If for some reason you feel that the HealthMastery program is not right for you, simply let us know after you first session with your trainer and before the start of you second session and we will happily refund 100% of your purchase price.     HealthMastery's personal training programs range from $300 to $500 per month depending on what your goals are and the personal training program that you choose.
